DDOT recognizes the importance of providing infrastructure that supports safe travel for all modes of transportation. As the project moves through alternative analysis and then 30% design, DDOT will engage the public and stakeholders to ensure that the investment is viewed as beneficial for a majority, if not all constituents and users.

Public input and community engagement are a significant part of the alternative analysis and the design process. DDOT will be providing updates to ANC 6A, 6B and 6C and other community organizations, as well as hosting two public meetings. The first will be held in April 2020 with more information forthcoming.

The DDOT team will work together with various stakeholders and federal and District government agencies to target any diverse user of the roadway in the project scope and continue to engage with them through identified preferred methods.

Public meeting minutes and photos to be posted.
